Privacy-conscious contact tracing app for individuals and public health officials
Covid Safe Paths, a spin-out from MIT, is a contact tracing app which is built with the principle of privacy-by-design. Using bluetooth and GPS data, it allows people diagnosed with COVID-19 to inform those they have recently been in contact with. And it allows those without the virus to download anonymised and aggregated data sets of public locations where they may have been in contact with COVID-19 patients. As the team are continuing to develop this app and others for different public health authorities, there are plenty of ways you can stretch your technologist muscles to flatten the curve.
We need you. Can you help with any of the following?
